The Billing Process (Timeline: Dates are approximate)

1 month prior to semester start - an e-bill is sent to you

About a month before the semester starts, a billing statement (e-bill) will be sent to you. Your financial aid awards will not appear on the first statement. Sign up for direct deposit, also known as Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), which allows any financial aid refund to be deposited directly into your bank account.

1 week prior to semester start - financial aid refund are available

If you have been awarded financial aid, your file is complete and your registration is not blocked, aid will begin to apply to your account in CalCentral. Check CalCentral to be sure documents are complete and view aid disbursed to your account. Refunds for financial aid in excess of your balance will begin a week before the start of classes.

1 week prior to semester start - pay your bill online
