Open a case:
After opening a case with Cal Student Central, you will receive an online confirmation and case number. Please record your case number for future reference so that you avoid opening multiple cases on the same topic (which can delay your response time). All inquiries will be replied to via email.
*Please do not submit more than one ticket for the same inquiry. We are experiencing a high volume of inquiries, and opening multiple cases may result in a longer response time than usual. Thank you for your understanding!

Please read and follow these steps before checking in with Cal Student Central staff. Following these steps may save you time and potential delays in service.
1. Check your CalCentral My Finances or My Academics pages to see if your question can be answered there.
2. Contact your home department's Graduate Student Affairs Officer (GSAO) for assistance.
3. If referred by your home department to Graduate Division Student Services, please either visit 318 Sproul from 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. or email the relevant office:

4. If you are referred to Cal Student Central by your home department for enrollment or Financial Aid (loans) assistance, please check in for assistance.
